Going Downhill

"Going Downhill", Oil on Canvas Panel, 10"x8", Plein Air

San Miguel de Allende is built on the side of a hill. No matter which direction you travel the road will probably be rising or falling. This one was one of the steeper ones.

Sun Block

"Sun Block", Oil on Linen, 8" x 10", plein air, $75
In the desert north of San Miguel de Allende is a Horse Ranch named Rancho del Sol Dorado. Approaching mid day, the sun was starting to heat things up. Some of the trees were large enough to  provide a reasonable respite from the heat. Thanks to Holly, for letting us paint in such a picturesque place.

Jardin Hat Vendor

"Jardin Hat Vendor", Oil on Linen Panel, 8" x 10", plein air, $75
The day after painting from Parque Juarez, I found a good spot in front of the Parrocia to paint the people in the Main Jardin. I thought it was cute how the Beagle was sitting on the wall with his two companions. Vendors came and went, but I thought this hat vendor with about 20 hats balanced on his head was worth including.
